Nutrition advice & plans This can be as simple as you want it to be, if you try to do any research into healthy eating or diet plans, you will no doubt have across come terms such as macro-nutrients, complex carbohydrates, mono saturates, the list is endless. But it really doesn’t have to be as complicated as all these terms sound. We do not tend to follow trends and “faddy” extreme dieting, but instead base much of our training and advice on evidence-based training principles. We believe in fresh and organic produce in our diet suggestion plans, the less processed the better! Lots of colour to ensure a rich variety of vitamins and minerals alongside a balanced amount of macro-nutrients so you can perform to your best whatever the situation. However, we also understand that it needs to be realistic around a busy working lifestyle for a lot of our clientele. Therefore, combining a fresh balanced diet with convenience and the best supplements is also an option and can still get you the results you crave. Our trainers offer great insight into nutrition advice & plans by forming simple, healthy eating, goal orientated formulas that fit lifestyles including fat burning and weight loss, muscle building, strength and weight training and preparation for body building. Booking for a session at one of our clinics, we will ask you for a food diary to get an idea of what your “normal” routine is at present and based on this; discuss how we can move forward, where you are potentially going wrong and what changes to consider implementing with some useful tips along the way. Following your feedback, we will put together a suggested diet plan and to ensure you get the results you crave, see you regularly through the early stages to talk about your changes and how you feel the progress is going. Our team will also be at the end of a phone or email for regular updates and feedback from all our nutritional experts and personal trainers if needed. Jolly Holly 09/12/2020 Having had upper back pain for well over 10 years and having tried a variety of suggested therapies/treatments (including 4 different physios, and osteopath and a chiropractor), none of which have made any long term difference to my pain, I turned to Allsports therapy as a final attempt to help my pain after many years of unsuccessful treatments. I was so impressed with the service that I got, Charlotte is friendly and welcoming, and easy to talk to. From my very first session she provided my with a full MOT for my back. Not only did she manipulate my back, but she also gave me a sports massage and really worked into my muscles to loosen them up. She suggested we tried acupuncture, which I was a little nervous about, but she reassured me, and the treatment was painless (barely felt it!) and effective. Without Allsports therapy, I would have paid for 3 separate treatment sessions for these three skills, but Charlotte has them all at her fingertips, and utilises them as needed after her assessment, therefore saving me a fair amount of money. Charlotte encouraged self care/ treatment in between the treatments, and provided a list of daily exercises and stretches. I have since been back to Charlotte several times and each time I come away feeling much more relaxed, comfortable and pain free. I would highly recommend Charlotte and Allsports therapy. I had never bothered with a personal trainer, but now I see I was 100% wrong all these years. Let the professionals assess what you need to work on. Paul was also brilliant as the physio in the early days as I recovered from a cycling injury, and the combination of both at Allsports is outstanding. I could not recommend them more highly.
